The Toledo, Ohio Youth Safe Haven-Police Ministation is a new member to the family located in the North Toledo section of the city and under the administration of the James C. Caldwell Community Center.

The safe haven program advances positive youth development by incorporating after school and summer tutoring, life skills, mentoring and social enrichment programs under the guidance of civilian and police staffing.

Youth become involved in community service projects to gain a better understanding of becoming responsible and productive citizens.  They will also become better prepared to enter the next level of education with a greater chance at academic success.  A comprehensive curriculum is developed to promote academic success as well as to enhance social development through mentoring and life skills.
