In 2000, the Bartlett Youth Safe Haven-Police Ministation in Somersworth, New Hampshire was established to develop communication and social skills. The safe haven is also a place of healing and unconditional love: a place where staff focuses on and strengthens what is good, creative and joyful in every child. Bartlett Youth Safe Haven-Police Ministation programs include Homework Lab, Mentoring, Community Outreach, Field Trips, Choir, and PAL. In addition to civilian and police staff, the program has mentors from Americorp, Vista and the National guard.
